Geneva Spivey

Geneva Spivey, 81, of Harleyville, widow of Bobby P. Spivey, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Geneva was born on March 14, 1944, in Holly Hill, SC, a daughter of the late Gary and Eva Lacey. She was a lifelong resident of Harleyville, SC and she never met a stranger and made lots of new friends by making the best burgers for many years at Champs. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and a sister, Dora Lee Bozard.

Surviving is her son, Bobby (Cindy) Spivey, Jr., grandchildren, Brandon (Samantha) Spivey; great-grandchildren, Noah Spivey and June Spivey; sister, Mary Ruth Lacey (Herman) Graham; her good friend and caregiver, Vanessa Hall and her furry friend, Fat Cat.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Harleyville Christian Church with Rev. Marion Kosier and Rev. Haskell Parler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
